Gerry Egan

As a consultant and trainer Gerry provides sought after services to clients (over 200 since 2018) including: governance reform and improvement, data protection assessment, implementation training and DPO services to SMEs, professional bodies, and charities/non-profits.

Projects include: corporate governance reform of social housing body, national sports body and other non-profits including: governance reviews and improvements, board evaluations, skills audits, company secretary mentoring.

In his previous 30 year career Gerry was a senior executive and company secretary in a major Irish State enterprise where he chaired wind farm development companies and a successful tourism enterprise. He was also a Director of Dóchas, the Irish Association of Non-Governmental Development Organisations 2014–20; and a Director of Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups 2017–2023.

Gerry is an active member of Institute of Directors Ireland and was admitted as a Chartered Director in 2017.
