About the course
Following the latest periodic review, the Charity Commission has proposed changes to its Statement of Recommended Practice, in response to the evolving UK and Ireland accounting standards. These changes are expected to apply to accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026.
This short course will help you stay informed about the recent amendments, which align the SORP with FRS 102 (September 2024), simplify its structure, and enhance the clarity of information provided to beneficiaries, donors, and the wider public about how charities use their resources.
