About Kirsty Hunter

Kirsty Hunter is an editor and journalist with more than 25 years in the publishing industry. She has experience working on content covering international education, nursing and mental health, the hospitality industry, art collections, banking, finance and technology, as well as accounting and financial reporting for accountingcpd.net.

Kirsty has been involved in the production of a huge range of children's magazines, activity bookazines and card collectables spanning 20 years, overseeing publications licensed by some of the biggest international brands in the children's sector, including Disney, Marvel, DC, Warner Bros and number one boy's title, the official Pokemon magazine, as well as responsibility for various titles within the LEGO magazine portfolio.

She was also part of the BBC Top of the Pops Magazine team, starting when the likes of Take That, So Solid Crew and Atomic Kitten were topping the charts, right through to the days of The Weekend, Harry Styles and Dua Lipa.

She is proud to have spent two years volunteering as a specimen archivist at the Natural History Museum in London.
